I have posted this many time on this site....the rislone will clean off the hardened carbon off of the oil scraper ring allowing the ring to adhere to the cylinder wall thereby scraping off all of the excess and keep it from over powering the compression ring which will foul you spark plug quick...I think you are OK and do not need another motor....

 

When I first started it it smoked like crazy until I drove it around and about 10 minutes later it calmed down from what I could see. However now everytime I start the car from sitting I get the same crazy smoking. Not sure if this is normal when using this but definitely can't go on like this. When I start the car in my driveway I can't even see my house. I'm going to give it a few days and pull back out the same spark plug to see what it looks like and report back

 

anybody know a good site to find used motors? found a local shop and now i just need to find a motor..

 

ok so while searching for motors i came across some info about a common problem involving the valve cover gasket and oil in cylinder 6. when the nissan dealer looked at my car he said piston rings however also said the compression test checked out (doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me). however as im reading all the info about others cyl 6 issue due to the valve cover gasket im noticing that everybody seems to be having the same symptoms as i am and my cyl 6 looks just as theirs does... wtf should i just take it for a second opinion?

 

ok well couldnt wait for a second opinion ripped it apart last night to replace the vc gasket and def wasnt the problem, the old gasket looked fine... can anybody point me in the right direction of a good used engine PLEASE!!! i just want this over with
