Need help... Car smoking

Ok guys new member just purchased a 04 coupe 6mt with 77k.
I was sitting in the parking lot at work and revved up the engine and noticed smoke coming out of the exhaust and also a smell which at first I thought was gas but really not sure. Somebody suggested head gasket but the oil looks fine, the radiator is full and so is the overflow. Somebody else suggested maybe an injector. I notice looking under the hood on the right side of the engine closest to the front I can see it looks wet around the area where the oil stick is...
Anybody know what this could be?

It was an out of state car so I have to take it through emmissions prior to registering and am gonna give it a whirl when I get out of work. I would appreciate any assistance.

Wow and you just bought it? Let us know how it goes, I just recently acquired a G and am interesting to know what the problem was. Hope it's nothing serious!

Hopes it's not the OC issue.

I've literally only been driving the car for 2 days. I'm gonna pull it in the driveway and check it out till my neighbor gets home( he's a mechanic) so he can take a look at it. I've been talking to my boy via txt he thinks that it's misfiring due to the possible injector issue which honestly I hope it's just an injector issue cause I'd rather replace that than a head gasket

I would think though that if it were a head gasket that my oil would look funny or I would be missing some coolant... Both of which I'm not

So only update thus far... 2 local people seem to be certain on a coil pack issue/possible injector. Took it to autozone to get scanned and only thing that showed up is a random misfire code...

The way it's looking is I'm just gonna wait till Monday and take it to the Nissan dealer to have it checked out out, I really don't feel like guessing anymore I want a real answer..

Good luck hope you get it worked out. Sounds like a bad coil pack to me which is a pretty easy fix.

Could a coil pack really be the answer to all of the symptoms??

I took the engine cover off and the intake off and what I could see for starters is the oil cap was not on very tight and all around the coil packs on that side had a pool of oil around them...

Yes it could. When I was installing my plenum, I accidentally knocked one loose and didn't know it. Car ran like azz and actually limped it back and forth to the dealer to buy a new throttle body which I suspected to be the issue. Turned out to be the coil pack and I thought the car was going to mutilate itself driving with the cp loose. Plugged it back in and the car ran perfectly.
