Not many owners of the Tanabe coilovers so your research might come up very scarce and on top of that not all of those owners have the TEAS. I think it's better for you to research the EDFC that is the same system on the Tein coilovers. TEAS has one neat feature over the EDFC which is the speed based dampening control other than that the systems are identical. The addition of the TEAS does make the installation a little more complicated though, so just keep that in mind. It'll probably double the install time depending on where you want to mount the control box.

Bump? I'm being told to look into SPL Camber kit too. I was under the impression that the coils gave me camber adjustability but I'm not going to argue with someone who knows things while I'm still a newbie. Any other camber kit recommendations?

No you do not have camber adjustability with coilovers.

SPL is a good brand, stick to that.

Yeah, you don't have pillowball upper mount coilovers so if you have already maxed out the adjustment of the OE pieces than you'll need to get aftermarket ones.

I run SPL in the front and back which are nice but are a little pricey compared to the competition. If you want to save some money you can go with SPC which is quite popular for our cars. Remember to get the upgraded toe bolt for any aftermarket rear camber kit. At the max drop height of the Pro5 you should at the minimum get the rear camber arm with toe bolt.

SPL and SPC are the only front arms that will give you decent positive camber adjustment. Pricey but well worth it in the long run as opposed to constantly replacing tires.

Watch the marketplace for some great deals. You can put the coils on and just try to stock adjust toe to spec and just live with the natural camber.

Yeah that's the sucky thing about our coilovers..not having that camber option but spc is most used for our cars..your going to delay your coilover install cause you have to buy camber kits? Unless your THAT worried about your tires id go ahead and install the coilovers anyway..

And I just used an electric impact gun from harbor freight..cost me $40..alittle bulky compared to the air ones but worth it! Especially if you don't have an air source..

Well, good luck with what ever you decide to do it. Your car can wait, just spend the extra time and make sure you have everything together. And whenever you decide to do it, take pics!
