Hey guys, always been lurking, but this is my first post. Was wondering, couldnt find thid on the search, how many miles you guys put on average on your g's?
Unfortunetly, I drive a lot, so in two months I have about 2700 miles on my car. I have seen people on this board love their cars so much that they just garage it all year around. Others, don't even roll down their windows.
Maybe I am driving excessively, trying to get an idea. Thanks.

I've not done many miles on mine.....it's an '03 new in Jan/03 and has 12,500 miles.
BTW.... On doing a search myself, I keyed in 'Miles on Your G' and came up with more than 100 threads of varying mileage subjects. (Search Titles Only)
Give it a try. I'm sure what you are looking for is in there.

My car just turned 15K miles.
Today....I filled up with 368 miles on the tank before the light came on!
Granted...it was mostly hyway driving...but Damn!
I usually average right at 300.

Bought mine 2 months back, have put 2k miles in 2 months. Right around the Kelly Blue Book/NADA average of 12k-15k miles a year. It's a daily driver for me, not a 2nd car for weekends/playtime.
On the other post I saw above... I got 390 miles on a tank of gas before my light came on last month on a road trip. All highway, about half Interstate (75-80 average) and about half a state highway where I averaged 60-65. Around town I will get 310 miles on a tank of gas before the light comes on.
I have a 6mt by the way...

Bought mine November 16th 04 exactly one month after my bday, thats how i remember the date. I have 950 miles on it, left it at home a couple days due to snow and not so great weather.

To get maximum value out of your car's depreciation, you should drive it 12,000 miles per year (US average). If you drive more than that, then aim for 15,000 miles per year. There are people on this forum that drive way more or way less than those numbers so it is really up to you.
