My '04 coupe has some interior noises not mentioned on other posts. I get a sqweaking sound from interior compartment when going over speed bumbs or driveways. Almost like the car is torquing or twisting, and makes noise accordingly. Any comments?

 

I hear the same type of sound from the sunroof area of the car.

 

i hear noise from my sunroof, glove box area, and somewhere in the back passenger side.....i just got used to it. feels like im in my friends SRX type s. too lazy to get it checked out. just get a loud exhaust like i did. hahahahha

 

Most likely, you are hearing the rubber seal of the sunroof rubbing against the roof of the car. I had the dealer just put a little silicon lube on it and it went away...for a few months. It needs to be re-lubed every few months depending on the amount of water your G sees...

I've had my G for about 8 months and the one (there are just a few) thing I can't stand is the interior noises. I have that same noise coming from the sunroof........wind noise from the passengers window.........that little piece of plastic behind the rearview mirror is always vibrating.........

Very frustrating......so I just turn up my music and ignore it.

 

haha! i just turn up my beats when the noise is annoying too! damn sunroof, and the fricken passenger seat belt!

 

I had my G for 9months and I just last month went in and had the sunroof thing foxed. They redid the seals and added some grease. No sounds now!

 

I used to get a lot of annoying noises that even the stereo couldn't drown out.
Now I am divorced and everything seems to have cleared up!

 

i get a noise from the moonroof too, so i closed the shade and i don't hear it anymore. noise from the rearview mirror too, play with it a bit and that goes away. some creaks here and there. well i drive from nj to long island everyday. roads suck on crossbrnx and lie. usually i have music playing loud enough i can't hear it. but my brakes are making noises while i drive and i gotta get that checked out tomorrow...
