Not too shabby. Probably best not to advertise this but eh, personally, I think it looks just fine, and gets the job done. Congrats n_n

Just by the word "Plastic" I don't believe it would wear well on wheels. Since Plastic Dip just peels off do you really want that on your wheels....think about it? Wait a while and see how your grille looks you may change your mind, with luck!

I did them on my oem 19's for an experiment, and its fine. It just depends on how you prep for it and how many coats you put on the rim. I've driven mines for a while now, with a majority of my miles from the highway, and it hasn't shown any peels. After multiple car washes, it still holds up strong. If you really want to do your rims, I would definitely try it. I mean at the cost of 6 dollars a can, and the fact that you can always peel it off if you don't like it, what can possibly go wrong? I've gotten compliments about my rims, and to me just plastidip'ing them helped control the urge to buy new rims.

I did the same to my grill back in March and it still looks good today. It's just a temporary solution until I get my grill professionally painted, but it has lasted a lot longer than I expected.

I sometimes cringe when I think of this plasti-dip craze that is gripping our community, but I am not too petty to say that your grill looks pretty good.

has anyone experienced damage to their wheels or other parts ? I'd be pretty hesitant to put that stuff on my rays.. I know that even some wheels cleaners can darken the wheels....

If you want the grille to have a more "glossy" look instead of a matte black look, buy a can of clear coat and spray several light layers on the grille. Helps protect the plastidip from scratching off too. That's what I did, and it turned out great.

Just regular clear coat. I used Dupli-Color Aerosol clear coat on mine.
