Unknown switch inside center compartment? Pics inside

Hey guys,
I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out what this mysterious switch is. I never got an owners manual when I bought the car second hand, so I have no idea what it is (or if it is even OEM)

This center compartment:

Thanks!

But seriously... your best bet is just flip it til you find out.

Did you buy it from a dealer or private?

Yeah that was what I was afraid of haha I was just hoping it'd be OEM so I could finally figure out what it is used for

There's an aux input near the bottom of the headunit, but if I plug in an iPod, I have no idea how to activate it. I've tried almost everything, switching to CD 6, holding down buttons, nothing works. I'm thinking that the previous owner might have just taken out the aux unit and just left the input there.

It's a pretty universal switch, but it looks similar to a switch for a Laser Interceptor laser jammer. that's what i have, and it looks exactly like that switch.

not many people have laser jammers... so the odds of it being that are pretty slim... that switch can be bought at radio shack.
