spray paint rims

can you spray paint rims and still make them look good just want to know..

Sometimes it looks really bad, sometimes it turns out ok.

Gdriver90's black OEM 19's didn't turn out bad. Actually looked really good.

Your Best best would be to get them powder coated.

Rattle can takes a LOT of work to make it look good. A lot of prep work.

Yeh, I wouldn't do it, nor recommend it, but it is possible to make it look good. That's the only answer you need. "Yes."

Not my car, but he used a matte roof overlay.

+1 maybe if u know how to paint it might come out good but hey whatever give it a shot if it doesnt work out go pay some to do it for you just be sure to do a good job on sanding the rim

Just go out to Autozone, buy some rattle cans and go to town. That's what I did... didn't need to prep at all!

Powder Coating is the way to go if you can afford $100 per wheel....If not buy quality paint (rattle cans) and take your time. Make sure those wheels are super clean and use a ton of masking tape/news paper....Good Luck!
