Kuruma Z and speedbumps?
Hi everyone,
I'm interested in getting the Kuruma Z bumper and I'm curious if I will scrape going through my subdivision which has about 5 speedbumps to deal with just to get out of the frickin' place.
I'm lowered on SWIFT springs which I believe is a .8" drop but then I also did the "Springmount Mod" to get another 1/2-1" out of it.
Just curious as to how much lower it sits than a 07" Sport front bumper?
I'm probably just going to get it anyways and take my chances. Just hate hearing and seeing it scrape everyday I leave the house. Guess I'll have to move. lol

Being lowered and having a KurumaZ bumper you'll need to learn how to crawl over speed bumps and driveways at a 45 degree angle. Your biggest nightmare w/b those parking lot stops or curbs when you're pulling up to them. Just gotta learn how far up you can pull without scraping the beautiful bumper....order touch up paint while you're learning.

Follow these steps:
Brake hard before the bump
Feel car lean forward
Let go of brakes right before the bump
Feel car suspension rebound - Front of car now slightly raised for a short moment
DO IT
???????
Profit!
Just kidding; that's actually probably more risky, 'cause if you don't time it right, you'll be lower in the front when you hit the speed bump. Plus, you need to be weary of people behind you when braking like that.
