Exactly. You'll never get all 3.

In the spirit of actually helping, my suggestion is pulleys and a motordyne plenum spacer. Those will set you back around $500. Pay the $100 to have the shop do the pulleys for you. Read up on the install for the plenum spacer. Unless you're 100% comfortable doing it, have a shop do that one as well. Those are the two best bang-for-the-buck power mods, but you'll still lose lol.

Is his Genesis Coupe a stick or auto?

Well, at least you guys are on a level playing ground, but that does take out the "hope he's a bad driver" option...

Sorry to say, but you're probably going to lose unless you do an extensive array of bolt-ons and even then I'm not sure you'd win.

He is not a good driver and doesn't know how to **** right to the full potential , what can I do to make a advantage when driving ,torque brake launch? Anything else? Traction off?

Put the car in park, take out the keys, tell your parents to drive you to a track, then we'll talk.

i like the idea of a depreciation war.

i am sure his car will loose a lot more value than yours in 5 years. take it to a track and brake launch it and hope for the best. no point in spending money on mods just so you can beat him this one time.
slowly add mods and enjoy each one as time goes by.

Good luck! enjoy your car
