Stillen Ztube/Pop Charger VS Fujita Short Ram I

From other G owner. which is the best option to go?
I'm also doing the 5/16 Spacer.

Eventually i will get a Stillen SC. Eventually.

This is for a 2003 Coupe. Everything is stock.

I would really just save the money for the supercharger because intakes really dont give us any hp. But the spacer is a must!!!

I like my stillen because it looks oem for the most part.

Intakes really dont do much for these cars but make noise...but it sounds so purrrrty

I just installed a 5/16 spacer and pop charger. Now it runs like a beast and sounds like one.

If your trying to get the most out of performance just get drop in filter like K&N or Amsoil.

If not then a pop charger is bext next.

You should do a search for the various reviews the intakes have garnered.

I would go with Stillen Hi-Flow Intake with Z-Tube Package

I dont Understand how can the stock intake can give u better performance than the aftermaket Intake... This is suppose to suck more air than the stock box.

Is this proven to actually lower your hp?

Also is the ztube plastic? i was talking to a friend this weekend and he told me that metal or aluminum pipes are better because the pass more air... that plastic creates a dragging effect on the air..
he used to race...

So i'm kinda confused now...

Oem z tubes are plastic. You can buy other ones though. Aluminum ones also get hotter then plastic. And as for the above poster, heatsoak is the culprit. Having an aftermarket intake in your open engine bay sucks in all the heat from your engine instead of the enclosed oem intake. I don't notice heat soak though but others claim they do. Our cars are slow anyway so just get what you like or save up for supercharger.

You would have to modify it. The pop charger is way to big to fit.

Does the ztube come with the stillen intake box? this also look like it has a cone filter

or is the box an additional item?

That stillen/ztube combo is my favorite intake by far! No heat soak due to the enclosed box and still has a cone filter for air and a great sound. I just sold my pop charger and am looking for one of these currently.

And the stillen air box is an additional item. You should be able to find one in the marketplace if you check from time to time.
