slip light

HELLO
i have a 350 gt. around 4 months ago the slip light came and stayed on. this happened when i turned the ignition. there was no power. this has happened intermittently since. it never happens whilst driving as the car drives very well. when the fault is cleared the car is fine. a couple of dianostic tests are pointing to the throttle motor control relay. any ideas or similar problems
cheers

This has never happened to me. So did you replace the relay? If there's an error code that points to this sensor I'd replace it, beats being broken down on a cold/wet/windy night in a strange neighborhood....

i had an issue with the abs and slip light staying on. 3 wheels were reading 8mph and the other was erratically reading 16 then 14 then 12 then 16 lol it was going crazy. The ride was perfectly normal. All i did was clean the sensors and the lights disappeared. If you had any work done to your car that made you take out any sensors just try cleaning them. It works wonders. Then again our problems are only barely similar.

my slip light would come on like that on my car as well .... but on mine it would usually be on rainy days .... and i did some research and it turn out there was a defect with (i forgot what sensor ) that would happened when water would come in contact with it but it would not damage car performance at all ... once it would dry i was back to normal ...

HELLO
thanks for the replys. took the car to the garage today and had the ipdm unit taken out which has the throttle motor relay. a couple of diagnostic tests pointed to this as the problem. it was damp inside and a fair bit of corrosion. this has been cleaned so will see what happens
cheers
