New to Infiniti G35 (newbie)

Hello!

Please be gentle, I am newbie to infiniti.
I am switching from my unreliable POS BMW 325ci to a 04 G35 coupe Manual. I am looking at a G35 with about 94K mile on it.

1. It terms of repair and maintenance, what was the major repair you had to go through and how much did it cost?
2. Repair cost of BMW vs G35, is it similar or cheaper?
3. I also heard that G35 have bad piston rings which would cost $$$$? Is that true?

Thanks everyone.

Welcome to the g community! Yes our cars should be cheaper then the bmw. You dont want to find a g that has less mileage

Did you mean find a G with less mileage? The one I'm looking at has 94K. I just want to make sure that I will not see any major issue with it within the next few months.

Any major repair you encountered? If so what was it and how much did it cost you?

Thanks!

No major repairs here; Sitting on 51k miles, daily driven and modified performance as well as aesthetic.

Edit:
Other comments made me remember my cd player also ****ed up. But I happily upgraded to a double din setup so no biggie.

I'm just shy of 90k miles. The only issue I have had was a broken window motor. Other than that just regularly scheduled maintenance.
