Thanks everyone for the support! I'm glad to say that I wont be leaving the G family. I'm lucky to say that I purchased a 08 G37 Journey Coupe today for 26k, 39k miles!!

Regarding fault, I know that every State and Province is different. I live just outside of Toronto and I know that all Ontario Insurance Providers must abide by the Fault Determination Rules.

http://www.ibc.ca/en/car_insurance/d...tion-rules.pdf

See #9 and kinda/sorta #11 as they pertain to your accident. You may want to research your state to see if the rules are the same/similar. In all honesty, I think the best outcome for you would be to be 50% at fault. It'll be near impossible to prove that you were fully stopped when hit. Just my .02

Oh, and 'grats on the new purchase

This sucks man, I just Lost my G and I'm looking for another to replace her :/ glad ur safe man. I know you're gonna hear it alot man but it's better to walk away from the crash and start over then to not walk away at all. Good luck with the future brother. Once again I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
