Problem when filling gas tank

Two problems happened, yes one is the evaporative vent clog that the letter went out for, check out this thread:

The second problem was the overflow valve on the fueling nozzle didn't trip, you should inform the station clerk which pump nozzle it was so he can get it fixed.
You should ALWAYS stand off to the side when filling your vehicle, if you need to turn it off from an overflow condition you can do it at the pump itself by depressing the switch plate where you put the nozzle when finished, I learned the hard way too...

I noticed this if I didn't park the car correctly. As in too close to the pump and not right in front of it. I would have to manually have to hole the nozzle and re click the trigger multiple times until I would just give up. Now, that I have been parking at a good distance I haven't had this problem. I'm not sure if it was the pumps or what but pumping gas for me is not a pain anymore....*knock on wood*
