If you're not new using a clutch and don't intend on going to the track stick with a OE clutch/flywheel. Sounds very much like your clutch is shot/warn out! Check our MARKETPLACE for a OE replacement clutch/flywheel/throw out bearing and call Nissan for price comparison. You'll need a qualified transmission shop to replace it for you, don't even consider Infiniti! Good Luck!

Gary,

So you prefer to keep a stock clutch if you are not on a track? I've heard nothing but good stories about the JWT setup. I was thinking of jumping on that setup when mine starts to go. What clutch setup are you running with?

Also,

My local mechanic was looking to charge 7-800 bucks for a clutch replacement in labor alone not including parts.

The only cons to the JWT is the harder effort on the clutch pedal and the rattle at idle. If you can put up with that, it's the last clutch you will ever buy.

Thanks for imput decided to start looking for shops I have seen people recomending the F1 clutches and exedy prododuces.. how is a stage 1 just right above stock right? i have found a guy who can resurface my stock flywheel instead of getting a whole new one. should i do that or replace with a prolite flywheel? also what do you think about this combo if found online:
