Thinking of buying a G35 but cant decide.
Did you ever consider buying a crappy $3-4K car for your first car?
I know it doesn't sound appealing, but when I was your age.... most of my friends crashed their first car, did something really stupid to do serious damage to it, or learned some lesson due to a mistake that they made while owning the car which resulted in less-than-desirable consequences for the vehicle. I crashed my first car too... although it was not my fault (t-boned in my drivers side door at an intersection by some drunk lady who was running straight through a red light @ 65 MPH at 6 AM while on my way to work).
You could always drive a beater for a year or 2 and then upgrade to something nicer.... plus your insurance would be a lot cheaper for a car that's not worth much, considering your age and lack of driving experience.

Also, you should have no trouble selling it in 2 years for what you paid, if not more. Buddy of mine does that, ends up making money each time with smart buying/selling.
I know you WANT things, but what you can afford is entirely different at times. Even at 38

Other things may take precedence. At your age, I would prefer a cheaper car (including gas + insurance) and have more money for concerts, spring break, XBOX, whatever.
Car rich, cash poor... not the most fun.
get a GTO then
Euro to Japanese to American muscle now? This guy is just all over the world with car choices lol
I agree with previous posts stick with a cheap-ish car for your first. Insurance costs/gas/maintenance will be alot less money. Everyone gets wild with their first car, ESPECIALLY if mommy or daddy is paying for it.

^ Good advise guys but we can't assume he's going to trash on his car or drive like a maniac just cause he's young.
Yeah most teens do some silly stuff (I def did), but if your responsible enough and can afford the car I say go for it.
