jgtcnsx - i assume the nsx you posted is oriented to be more of a showcar? id be interested in hearing your take (agree or disagree) on the brakes since the mt900 and cts-v both had very poor experiences with that braking system.

also is there something missing from the rear diffuser area? or is it like that by design? something just looks odd about it...
anyway, i hope im not coming across as a hater cause your car is beautiful! Just my 2cents.

I see no hater remarks so no problem there.
About the ZMI brakes. I have had them for about a year now. I have abused them as much as I could for about 6K miles. I have done 0-150-0 runs back to back as hard as I could with no fade. No problem at the track or on the street. Are you sure that the guy with the MT tried ZMI's? There are a few other Titanium rotors available and I wonder what company he got them from. I have seen the ZMI's on a full race VIPER that after 3 seasons is still running the same rotors. There are a few versions by ZMI a street and a race rotor. I have both and run the Race rotors all the time now. Easy to change but time consuming. ZMI started to do a heat treatment to the rotors and on my heat treated race rotors after 1500 miles still look like I put them on yesterday, and that's with some very hard driving.
I am very happy with the Titanium brake set up. The hats and rotors are 5.5 pounds front and 4.9 pounds rear. Total weight savings of 90 pounds over stock. The lighter the car the lighter effort on the brakes, I only weigh in at 2840 with me out of the NSX. Just a mention, with sticky tires up front and disconnect of the ABS the car would ENDO (lift the rear tires off the ground with hard braking), Trust me it is possible I have done it with a Mastang and have seen many Porsche with the rear tires off the ground.
Yes the rear diffuser is built as you see it on my NSX. Although not very pleasing to the eye to some it works, and that is all I care about. Hell at least I painted the Diffuser rather then leave it raw Carbon Kevlar.

You can read my quick review of the ZMI's above. I have never heard negative things about the ZMI's untill today. If I had to pay the $$$$ again for a set of brakes for my street/strip/race NSX I would get the Titanium ZMI's again.
If I was building a RACE only NSX, as I plan to do next year I will probably go a different route. This is due to off the shelf support and rules and regs in the race world.

I guess I dont get why you bothered with the G in the first place. You are going to spend a lot of money just to get to where a vette is stock. The G is a good car for the money, but doubling the price (mine stickered at 38K) can almost get you a new M5, Viper, RS6, etc... I dont think you will have the same reliability, at least warranty as any of those, nor be as fast. Sure, the G may be exclusive down here in Indiana where people have no idea what I even drive, but will still look like a 30 grand car. If you spend as much on the G as you spent on the NSX, people will still notice the NSX more. Same idea as the Suburbans and the discounted H2s. Nice choices though.

I think the NSX is one of my all time favorite sports cars. I just love it! VERY nice example you have there!

I agree
