lol....ahhhh this is where reading and learning comes into play. Do you research and learn the car. There is no Money/Horsepower ratio that we can tell you. It seems you have a video game mentality when it comes to modding a car which is definitely not a good sign.
Ill figure here that your young and are ready to jump into modding your car so it'll be fast and flashy. Take your time and develop driving skill and learning how to handle a RWD car which is significantly different from driving most FWD cars.
A lot of us who are veterans of the forum, see these threads all the time and unfortunately most don't end well..... So take your time and enjoy your car.

Get art pipes, I just installed the newest version art pipes, and you can feel the difference big time in my car...
Sound wise, it's a bit quieter but it's deeper then stock.. Everything else is stock
In a few weeks I will buy the XYZ with resonator pipe. I will update after I have them installed...

I am 18 as well. When I turned 17 i payed 300 to do a BMW Road Survival day where you basically learn how your car handles at the limits. Before you do any modding, you have to be able to handle all the power has now at the limit. That day has saved me a couple of times, spinning my car around drunk drivers and other stuff. After that, since a supercharger would be stupid to do since its so expensive, just get an exhaust, intake, and my favorite mod is a new clutch/lightweight flywheel. it helps it launch so much better. If your car is automatic you obviously cant do the clutch/flywheel. but the others will add some fun without changing too much how it drives

I am a G owner... and a salesman... and I simply must ask you this.... Why? Whay a budget for one of the most amazing cars out there?... and why do you want a 300 hp car? Just to say you do? I say this... Buy what you want! And if it is a 300 hp car... cool... if not... buy something you are proud of. Something you love... and most importantly... something you want to pay for every month. There are tons of mods for the G... but to get to a certain hp makes no sense... I mean... I am looking to get 600-650 out of mine. But I didnt buy the car because of that.... I bought the car because I love the G. Find one that someone else has already spent money on the expensive stuff... then go off from there. New motor... boost... u name it... going fast is EXPENSIVE. Dont put a budget on a purchase if you cant afford to do the fun stuff. Trust me... That being said... I have a sick 04...50K miles... 17,000$ nothing done but wheels and scheduled services... any takers? Message me. Black in color. Premium package
