The gap with the quarter looks tight. I would loosen the nuts for your tail light and re-tighten while applying pressure on the light towards the trunk. you can also shave the holes where the light bolts go for some more wiggle room.
If the trunk was ever replaced, the fitment of every trunk is sliiightly different as well. I replaced mine with a recycled trunk at one point,and it required some tweaking to get the gaps looking good. Your best bet is to just mess with the tail light.
