help! losing power

so recently my car doesnt feel as fast then before, the only engine mod is a jwt intake which i had for about 2 years. i cleaned the intake filter and had the spark plugs changed today thinking that it would help it. Also i did reset the ECU and Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning. i have also noticed that the noise from the intake is significantly louder than before. Also there is no sign of transmission slip. the only thing i noticed when i was losing power is when i started hearing the intake louder than before.

car specs:
2004 g35 coupe
automatic transmission
87k miles
everything stock except for jwt cold air intake

thanks and happy holidays

Check for an Air leak. Try putting back the OEM intake to see if it changes.

I experienced this with my mustang. Turns out I blew the welding on my intake Manifold... But I raced the crap out of that car...

Check connection from intake pipe to your throttle body and also to the rubber hose connecting to your intake pipe. I'm guessing you have the stock g tube still...

No problem. But yea, check that rubber hose beneath the stillen tube. I suspect it may not be fastened correctly.

so this morning i took a look at the engine and especially at the intake. i took everything apart and looked closely for any leaks. i couldnt find anything and i was careful to reinstall everything back together, i even had a chance to look at the throttle body and it looked clean. i dont know what else to do someone please help.

Did you throw the stock intake back on to rule out the pop charger? Or is that not an option?

i swapped the intake to the stock one, its not so loud but still feels underpowered. my brother says it sounds like something is clogged also when it shifts it shifts at about 5-6k rpms at full throttle

Hard to say since none of us can see your car. If its a substantial loss in power then go have your mechanic look at it. If it wasn't the intake, it could be almost anything.
