G throwing error code

Within the last 4 months I replaced my cam shaft sensor and now again I am having the same symptoms where my car will turn off and vdc and slip will come on. When I took it to get the error code it threw p1564 the ascd steering switch. Any one encounter this problem and if so how did they fix it?

Alright guys I have replaced a bunch of these on Infiniti vehicles. You will have to replace the steering wheel switches to fix this. One or more of the functions on the switches are not working or you could have a bad spiral cable also. You will have to look at all of the functions on a data monitor to verify 100%. Most of the time it has been because coke or something got splashed on the switch, not that this is the case for you guys. ASCD stands for automatic speed control device which is the cruise control. The switches will definitely cause a ses light. Hope this helps guys.
