Foglights ?

06 Coupe.

Is there an easy way to be able to turn the foglights on by themselves without the headlights being on?

I've been wondering the same thing, but I don't think there's any easy way to do it without doing some rewiring.

If you do a search on the topic, I remember seeing a thread on this foglight about a year ago... It required some rewiring in one of the boxes under the hood so I decided to hold off instead of snipping wires, etc.

FOG LIGHT CONTROLLER MODULE
This module interfaces directly with the Nissan/Infiniti cluster matrix to enable completely independent control of the fog light system, while still using the OEM fog light switch.
$49.99

This is what I came up with last night...

Swap the wires at the plug that way the main switch controls your foglights and the foglight switch controls your headlights. All you have to do is de-pin the connector at the headlight, not hard to do.

I wouldn't recommend swapping the wire around - the two fog lights are wired together on a 15A fuse. Each headlight is on it's own 10A fuse. If you swap the wires you'll overload the 15A fog light fuse and you won't properly protect the fog lights as the fuse will be too big.

You will also not be able to turn on your headlights without your fog lights on.
