4 seconds or less for a stock WRX? Ha! You're not even close to accurate on that claim. Those new WRX's are a ton faster than the previous gen ones, but definitely not sub-4 seconds. That would put it in the category of elite exotics. Bone stock, those WRX's do 0-60 in just under 5 seconds, and will do a quarter mile in about 13.5 at just around 101-102 MPH. One of my best friends has a 2009 WRX which he uses for autocross as well as occasional runs at the drag strip(when his drag Camaro is not running, which is like half the time), and it will definitely beat the OP's G35 though. Plus he has an auto tranny, which are slightly slower than the 6MT Coupes.

Just so you know how much faster his car will be than yours... he can do 0-60 in just a shade under 5 seconds and we can do 0-60 in right around 6 seconds. That's pretty much not even close from a dig.

G35's just aren't that fast... they are meant to be a mid-level mix of luxury and sport and carry too much weight and put out too little power to compete with the likes of some of the newer fast/quick cars.

Nope.... read what the original guy said.... "4 seconds or less", which pretty much means right at 4 seconds or faster than that. That's what I was referring to as BS. There's a huge difference between a car that does 0-60 in 3.8 to 4 seconds, and one that does it in 4.8 to 4.9, and that's about how much of a difference that this guy was off by when claiming a WRX is a sub-4 second 0-60 car. Even a 4.8 second 0-60 in a WRX would require a near perfect launch and shifts.

Hold on so by saying it can do it in 4 seconds that only mean exactly 4 seconds? What happened to the 1000 milliseconds in between? You can say it can do it in 4.5 sec when your talking about one specific car. But if you have for example 20 WRX STIs and all of them clocked in a 0-60 time of 4.3 to 4.9 seconds you can say they all do it in 4 seconds. Get it....there are 1000 milliseconds in 1 second it doesn't matter if it did it in 4.0 or in 4.9 seconds it is still considered 4 seconds.

It's safe to assume you don't work for NASA, in the medical profession, the aviation industry, engineering profession, or even construction trades.

He probably runs track in high school. 4-minute mile is considered anything under 5 min. In the real world, and certainly in the medical profession, having 2 ***** is much different than 2.5.
