10 mpg

So I'm having a little issue
My G is getting around 9.45 miles to the gallon on 92 octane
so far I did my research and replaced the air filter. I plan to replace the spark plugs ASAP
How are E3 spark plugs?
Should I replace anything else?

I used JNK plugs when I did them. It probably won't alter your mpg figures but it could. Check the tire pressure and make sure they're all up to specs.
The cold weather has really taken a toll on me, too. On my last tank I got 16.7mpg on 91. I know that's not as bad as yours but in the early fall I was getting 20.5.

Air filter, low tire pressure, and bad spark plugs are the easy fixes. Besides those three it gets alot more technical with ignition timing and fuel injection problems. Also you could start driving like a grandma

How many miles do you have on your car? Is the Check Engine light on?

Bad spark plugs decrease engine combustion efficiency, which negatively impacts vehicle gas mileage and power.

Clean your MAF sensor with some MAF Sensor Cleaner spray... that can make a big difference if the one in there now is all screwed up. Also make sure that none of your brake calipers are stuck. A stuck caliper will add a ton of resistance to the car as you drive and sap your fuel economy noticeably.

Aside from that, it might not be a bad idea to check your wheel bearings to make sure they're OK and see that each wheel spins freely when lifted off the ground.
