Hello everyone,

Yesterday I bought a momentum Exhaust from a fellow g member. When i went to put it on today the straight pipe was short and didn't properly fit. Knowing what I've read on forms i found out its a 350z straight pipe. Is there anyway to get extensions for this so it will fit properly. People have told me i might be able to just go to a muffler shop and show them what i need. Sorry if i look like a moron, but still new to the car/mod world and to the g itself.
Any advice will help.

definitely take it to a muffler shop, easy and much faster fix...will have a hard time finding momentum parts now sense they've shut down

 

They shut down? Didn't they just have a Christmas turbo kit giveaway sweepstake? They shut down in a month?

When you say "straight pipe"...I'm assuming you mean the portion of exhaust tubing between the y pipe and muffler sections - not the cats/test pipe area, correct? If so, yes, there is an extension required after the y pipe (before the mufflers). You might be able to find these pipe extensions on ebay or in the marketplace here....or yeah, a muffler shop should be able to put something together for you for under $100/installed.
