03 manual coupe acceleration problem

So my coupe is a 6 speed and it feels like something is holding my car back from accelerating. It feels like it has no power at all. I had the throttle body cleaned and did a system flush and the problem is still there. Any ideas???

p.s.- no engine light or any lights on in the dash

Call us at the shop. mention you are from the forum. there are many things to check such as an obstruction in the exhaust from a blown out catalytic converter, or could be a timing or camshaft phasing issue. Whole bunch of things, and many of them don't throw codes .

If the motor is revving out but the car is not accelerating, it could be the clutch slipping.

When you say "revs normal" you mean it revs up to the expected RPM's where it would normally generate power, but the car doesn't move fast or at all? If so... it's something to do with your clutch. Either the plate is worn and you need to replace the clutch, or something is not working properly with the clutch hydraulics and the clutch isn't fully engaging.
