Yes, they had an increase for all coupes to cover the cost of the new center console.

Nevertheless, $150 isn't much in the grand scheme of a car purchase, and it should be worth $150 to them to keep a customer happy. Personally, I'd be upset at the fact that they tried to raise the price, even if you talk them out of it.

Re: Price increase on my june delivery, WTF?!?!?!?

that's insane, calling a customer and telling them that they have to pay $150 more on a 40k car. how un professional and cheap is that? they are already making a pretty penny on the car and want $150 more? sorry this **** just pisses me off.
(i had ordered a Z and when i went to pick it up 3 months later the dealer tried to convince me that the price we negotiated was for 3 moths ago and today its $500 more, i told to go to hell and to have my return my deposit and went and got a G coupe that afternoon and picked it up the next day)
my car has the armrest and i didn't pay any price increase

Don't get so jumpy, that $150 might also cover your splash guards, as they are "supposed" to be standard now. Wait untill your car comes.

Or think of it this way, that $150 was used to make the salesman open the sheet that has all the VIN numbers, check your name, pick up the phone, and call you.

I ordered my coupe on March 9th and have received no call from my dealership telling me my VIN. I live in California.

I was told about the price increase on the day I placed my order, so yes, I guess you do have a right to get _slightly_ pissed off. But it's all up to you, you could be in a worse situation as some people here. Infiniti dealers/salesmen are not respected anymore, due to their snobbiness and incompetence.

Dont know about anybody else but when I ordered my car I signed a sales contract that states that the price agreed on on in the contract was the FINAL price. Dont know how they could raise it.

Wow, you got a contract that says the price won't change? Thats awesome! my dealer told me that "the market can change between now and then, so can your price, bla bla bla"

I was hoping I could sign something that would have a set price but they wouldnt do that for me. I guess it's for their own benefit, they can _try_ to haggle with me when the car arrives, but I'm going to stick with what was put on my order sheet (including taxes and fees).

i dont believe you GForce
So you bought the car before it was even built, before it was even delivered? Doesnt make any sense because the dealer doesnt even get the invoice till the car arrives, so they dont know exactly how much to charge you yet
That custom order form that we all signed isnt really a sales contract

I think you got it RR. The Vehicle Buyers Order I signed with the GM allows me to bail in the event I am unsatisfied with the 'list price effective on the day of delivery' in which, previously stated, 'the manufacturer has reserved the right to change the list price... without notice'. ...dean

Check it out I'm no lawyer but from what I could could tell from my order sheet it says and I quote

" IF THIS ORDER IS FOR A NEW VEHICLE, THEN THE PRICE CONTAINED IN THIS CONTRACT IS THE FINAL CONTRACT PRICE TO WHICH THE PARTIES HAVE AGREED, AND THAT NO ADDITIONAL FEE OR CHARGE MAY BE IMPOSED OR COLLECTED FOR ITEMS INCLUDED IN THIS CONTRACT."

Like I said I'm not a lawyer but to me thta seems like an agreement on the final price. Unless they consider the new center console something that is not on the contract, but seeins as it is not an option It wouldnt be on the contract in the first place. Well whatever I havent heard about any price increase but I dont even have my VIN yet so I guess we'll see.

Just curious if you have a Q order? I ordered my 6MT coupe on April 4, which should fall under the same allocation as you and I have not recieved a VIN. My dealer also told me my original order price would not change, regardless of price increases during the approx. 3mo. wait.
