I was at the Philly auto show an i was talking to a infiniti rep and he was saying the there gonna come out with there version of the GT-R, did any 1 else hear about that

 

i heard rumors of an infiniti GT-R saloon

 

considering the nissan gtr now is $100k, its probably not really worth it to make a infiniti version unless its going to be distinctly different like mid or rear engine rwd or something like that.

Infiniti would be better off just make a true m3 competitor with the g37. Kinda like that lexus did with the IS-F. It would also be cheaper and easier help bring more younger buyers.

Infiniti needs to do something spectacular since the beautiful revised NSX will be showing up this year with a price tag of $100K and 40 MPG....Gary

A 4door GT-R, now that is sexy! I might save up for that one. After Infiniti gets it's super car, infiniti would have everything. G25/37/IPL, EX/FX 35, Q, M, convertable, and JX this year. So far Infiniti has everything.

 

Some other rumors i heard was that nissan said they would have to tune down the engine so it would be smoother and luxurious.....fail. Hopes thats not true

 

An Infiniti GTR would be pretty sweet, they'd definetly have to somehow make it better than the Nissan though...would be a good competitor for the NSX. If it was a 4-door....would be a good competitor for the Porsche Panomera.

 

Isn't the GTR the competition for that?
