Extended Warranty: Does it cover the Airbag system??

My airbag light is flashing. I have the elite extended warranty and I was under the impression that this is like the original factory warranty( or at least that's what the infiniti sales rep told me at the time!) Now the dealer said that it's not covered but I don't trust them as they might have actually caused the problem during the last service while replacing the seat tracks!!!
I dont have my copy of the warranty contract anymore. Does anyone know if in fact the airbag system is covered under the elite extended warranty or not?
Thanks

They issued a recall for the airbag module on the g35's. I know the recall is for 03 and 04 but might be for 05 and 06 too soo depending on the year of your G I would check with the recall... Happened on my 04

Air bags are like seat belts, they have an extended warranty by themselves. The recall wasn't for the air bags themselves but a wire above the drivers door they replaced....Gary

If you haven't had the recall done yet, they should do it with no questions asked. I brought my '03 in a month ago to my local dealer because the airbag light was flashing and they did a VIN check, saw that the recall was not done on my car yet, and went ahead and did their recall, which fixed the problem.
