true horsepower gains---
After skimming through hundreds of threads on this forum for a couple years now ive seen plenty of proven dyno results for just about every mod in the book but i have yet to come across one dyno or result thread of a true horsepower gain from stock to heavily modded with bolt-ons. Last weekend I installed my motordyne TDX2 and absolutly LOVE it. I have a few more things on the mod list, as we all do. I am curious if anybody has any dyno sheets/numbers from bone stock as compared to dyno results after getting CAI, exhaust, test pipes or ART pipes or HFC's, plenum spacer, headers, port polish, etc, and AFTER getting a tune. basically any mods you can think of minus going FI. whats the biggest gain people have seen after everything has been installed and tuned compared to a stock G?

You a Philly transplant in Charlotte? If so, me too.
From what I remember there have been 300 whp n/a G's. But I believe the g(s) that hit those marks we're non-rev up but had built internals. You're a rev-up so I'd say you should be able to reach 300 with the proper bolt ons and a good tune.

forget the CAI, get the revup air box if you dont already have it. go with the MREV2 if you are on the revup and get the spacer. The art pipes will definitely free up some power as well. Thats really all there is in terms of power makers for bolt ons. you wont be able to push that much more out of it. with an osiris tune that will definitely help as well.

SLICK being an '04 with non REVUP motor she has everything mentioned below and gained 24 RWHP and 18 lbs torque with an Osiris tune from SpecialtyZ. You members with '07 should do even better than that and I wouldn't pass on the CAI. When searching for RWHP you'll need all the cool air you can get....Gary

going on with the list of intake, mrev2 with spacer, headers, test pipes, and exhaust. alot of guys claim to hit the 300HP mark but none have dynos of being stock so you never really know how much they actually gained. not to be cruel but alot of the claimed 300hp breakers are from church automotive a high reading dyno.
if you really do your homework a nonrevup wont get anywhere near 300 without cams. now you sir have the potential to get really close to 300 for revup jus gotta trial and error with different parts.
i really regret not getting my g35 dynoed stock so i could see my real gains. but after i finish my last couple of na mods without getting cams im gonna get another 03-04 g35 stock to dyno same day as me to get some what of a good idea to see gains from stock to full na bolt-on.
currently i'm at 264whp 250wtq. the average stock g on my shops dyno hits between 220-235.
gonna swap out my tdx v2 for the harikiri single ti setup and put my carbon driveshaft on soon

I think the most accurate way would be for someone to take their car and dyno it back to back in the same day...first stock and then with all parts. Granted, that would be tough to do as most of us accumalate parts over an extended periord of time and install as we can...but that would be the only way to truly limit all the variables which could throw the test off. I've yet to see this done....so until then, there's just way too many variables to give an accurate gain number. Regardless, gains are minimal no matter what you do short of forced induction.

Do you guys notice real differences..? The 280/290/300 hp range have pretty much the same feel IMO. The local tuner in my area is going to charge me with $800 US for the Osiris tune claiming that i will have a 25hp gain on the dyno with my rev-up engine. I don't know if it's worth it to be honest..
