tempermental passenger window

I've been having some trouble with my passenger window not operating correctly. Several times now I have went to roll it down and the switch clicks on both doors as if it is rolling down but it doesn't. It will work sometimes but then automatically rolls itself back up. Any possible small things to check before I go at it?

Most likely the window motor. It could be the switches but more than likely it's the window motor.

Does the problem occur when you use both the driver side and passenger side switch? If so then it's your window motor. Which you can try cleaning out to make it last a bit longer. There are threads which you can find using the search option and it will tell you how to take out the window motor and how to clean it out.
