Compression Rod Question!

OEM compression rods are really nothing special. The bushings go bad all the time, the ball joints go bad. Sure, you can change the bushings out - but according to the service bulletin, you should be using a shop press with a gauge - and if that gauge reads out of range, you have to toss the arm...
On the other hand, upgrading the stock arms to energy suspension compression rod bushings, that kind of changes the game. In fact, you can get a complete set of ES bushings from our site sponsor z1motorsports for under $120 - that's a deal!

My OE compression rods lasted 7 years of constant driving and why I replaced them with OE rods, how can you ask for more than that?

Are these aftermarket rods based on the old compression rod or the new revised compression rod?
The revised rod from Nissan has been slightly modified by a few degrees to prevent premature wear and tear. I'm guessing the bushing was also modified.
I had mine replaced 2 years ago. Infiniti replaced the entire rods under warranty. I hear they are being cheap now though. Only replacing the bushings under warranty if you still have it. Just replacing the bushings and using the old rods isn't a good idea seeing that the old rods were off causing premature wear. There was a comparison pic somewhere. Old rods vs new.
But then again, everything in our FN car is off. Alignment is off, plastic valvecovers with plastic sparkplug gasket / seal (cheap bastards), the rear differential mount is filled with fluid that leaks (wtf they smoking), and for the MT drivers... The tranny is clunky as hell. Sounds like something is broken.
