There hasn't been a lot of talk about this product, even if you do search it. The biggest thread I saw had a member who said he loved it. IIRC, a member named JBF used to have one. I'm sure he'd be willing to give you his experience if you PM him.

Since you're really into improving your transmission and acceleration feel, I highly recommend you look up a vendor named XsExCx. He's made one of the best grounding kits available that every single member will swear by.

I've had a Sprint Booster installed for four years. Yes, it works as advertised. It will significantly reduce that lag you feel between shifts. It also reduces the lag when you use manual mode. Does it increase horsepower...No! Does it improve acceleration...Yes! But it only improves acceleration by letting you get back on the throttle quicker and reducing shift time. You cannot reproduce the affects of Sprint Booster by just pushing the pedal faster, harder because of human reaction times. To me it is a very good alternative to the Transgo because it is not permanent. To remove it you just unplug it. The new model has three settings. Off, sport, and race. They have a thirty day return policy so you can try it and if you find that it doesn't meet your needs you can go with the approximately $800 Transgo install. There has always been a ton of speculation about if and how this product works...but, it is almost always by people who haven't tried it.

$330!?? Just buy a grounding kit from SxExCx. Mine is coming in about 2 days and I can wait. More then half that price and you get the same results. Search for reviews, almost everyone on the forum has one and they all love it...

The sprint booster just adjust the throttle basically. We have electronic throttles and it changes it to when you press the gas pedal it tells the ecu that you have the pedal down further than you really do. Transgo shift kit goes in your trannys valvebody and actually makes you shift quicker. I have the ground wires and the transgo and am more than happy with the response. A sprint booster will just make you chirp the tires more often.

The ground wires do help but the difference between that and the shift kit are night and day.

Nice thing about the transgo is that when you are in drive it shifts smoothly. When you are in manumatic is when it gets fun. The more spirited the driving the rougher and quicker the shifts.

No problem. Best mod I've done so far. Its a pain tho I'm not gonna lie. I got mine from another forum member already installed in a brand new valvebody. I'd hate to do the actual install. But there are guys on here that if you send them the valve body and kit they will install it for you and send it back so all you have to do it slap it in.

There's also a DIY thread on the transgo if you wanna try and tackle it yourself. A lot of bolts and redrilling.
