The used vehicle I'm looking at has a similiar vin #, but not quite. So, how can I tell if its part of the oil consumption TSB issue?

Thanks for helping,

HKK

The 05-07 6MT coupes and 05-06 sedans have the rev-up motor which are the motors that seem to have the biggest issues with OC. The 5ATs not so much. If the car you are looking at falls into this category it's a possibility you could have the issue. However, not all rev-up motors get it, seems to be a crapshoot.
