Dumbass Old Cadillac did a hit a run. i need help and opinions
hey guys a stupid old *** cadilac witch is about 30000 feet long hit me out of no where on a red light, i looked at him and before i could right down his plate number he took off, i was so angry , but i couldn't follow him, i parked and looked at it, it wasn't that bad, i posted some pictures here and i wanted some professional opinions on what to do, would sanding it and using some bondo do the trick then painting that little spot of do you think i should get a new bumper, also does anyone know were i can get a oem g35 coupe rear bumper i searched all online and all i can find are those modified body kit rear bumpers i need a stock one, my cars color is brilliant silver, if any one has had this kind of thing done can you give me a estimation of a price.
It can be repaired with a urethane repair kit. Not all body shops have a bodyman trained to do this though so many will purchase reconditioned bumper covers that are either undamaged used covers or repaired damaged ones. The damaged ones will be those more similar to the damage yours has where the overall integrity is not compromised.
And repaired correctly, the urethane repair kit should hold as good as the original.
As far as cost, it varies based on the labor rates in your area. It's a relatively minor repair. They will remove the bumper cover, recondition/repair or replace it and then refinish it and put the cover back on. Of course there is the possiblity that additional damage can be found behind the bumper, but chances are it will be minor if at all. Maybe an absorber. Most cars range from $300 to $500 to do work like this, but I'm not sure how the price of the Rear bumper cover of the G compares to the average car.

Dude, how did a Caddy that was behind you get away from you? Shoulda chased him a couple blocks til he hit a red light, then copy his license and call da cops.
anyways, you can find a new bumper through Grubbs or other dealerships. maybe they can pop it out and repaint it too, but a new bumper might end up being cheaper.

Mine cost $140 for them to bump out, mold, and repaint/clearcoat. Good as new.

Agreed on the fix but it only cost you 140 to repaint?!?!! omg. I have my bumper hit twice and and both time it was 400+ to repaint the whole bumper and I didn't even have bumper damage strictly paint loss. Granted its not a Infiniti but still how did you get it so low. Not I am complaining because the other party paid for it.
