It can be repaired with a urethane repair kit. Not all body shops have a bodyman trained to do this though so many will purchase reconditioned bumper covers that are either undamaged used covers or repaired damaged ones. The damaged ones will be those more similar to the damage yours has where the overall integrity is not compromised.

And repaired correctly, the urethane repair kit should hold as good as the original.

As far as cost, it varies based on the labor rates in your area. It's a relatively minor repair. They will remove the bumper cover, recondition/repair or replace it and then refinish it and put the cover back on. Of course there is the possiblity that additional damage can be found behind the bumper, but chances are it will be minor if at all. Maybe an absorber. Most cars range from $300 to $500 to do work like this, but I'm not sure how the price of the Rear bumper cover of the G compares to the average car.

ebay has 2 rear sedan bumpers, right now. I know they will not fit your coupe , but if your patient, 1 will show up.

Dude, how did a Caddy that was behind you get away from you? Shoulda chased him a couple blocks til he hit a red light, then copy his license and call da cops.

anyways, you can find a new bumper through Grubbs or other dealerships. maybe they can pop it out and repaint it too, but a new bumper might end up being cheaper.

You do not need a new bumper. Take it to a bumper specialist who can heat it up and shape it back.

Mine cost $140 for them to bump out, mold, and repaint/clearcoat. Good as new.

Agreed on the fix but it only cost you 140 to repaint?!?!! omg. I have my bumper hit twice and and both time it was 400+ to repaint the whole bumper and I didn't even have bumper damage strictly paint loss. Granted its not a Infiniti but still how did you get it so low. Not I am complaining because the other party paid for it.
