I wish that was the case but because the cop actually reprimanded her and gave her a "lecture" from her description, I know she won't let this one go. Plus, she's been egging me to lower them since before getting the ticket.

I have heard that u could see a doctor and get some sort or prescription regulating the tint laws. I was thinking about doing it and just telling the doctor that sunlight gave me a migrane headache while driving. If this would actually work that would be awesome. I miss my front window tinted

I already do, but when my mom uses my car she hates the windows down so she always has them up

We have discussed this on my local car forums as well. If you are not allowed to have any tint up front, be it 5% or 35%, and you get a ticket for it.. don't be surprised. You are basically choosing to do something against the law (And I'm not here to argue whether the law is stupid or not, that usually goes nowhere), you might get ticketed in a week, or maybe 2 years, or never... it's a chance you take.

Your Mom sounds like every other Mom that gets busted for something we do wrong! Why mouse the license plate with a zip tie, how much would a bolt/clip cost? Plus you must have done a sh!tty job if the cop noticed the zip tie.... Gary

I been rolling with 35% for 5 years now in Jersey, I don't think they care around here. Plus, they fade over time so

I had to remove my 15% up front and went with 35%, that was way too light for my taste.
So I got 20%. Much better and you can actually see at night.
BTW I've got the GTR tail light overlays and so far cops haven't hassled me yet for it, even after getting cited twice for window tint.

I'm really torn on this.. i know the right thing to do is take off the front tints, but i got this car to enjoy it, and i know I'm going to hate getting in it knowing it looks like ****...
2 things...

1. If no tints makes your car look like ****, please sell it and take the bus.

2. If you grounded off a bolt and used zip ties for a license plate, please sell it and take the bus.

It's childish to bitch about tints and not take care of the rest of the car. Grow up a little, man.

I used 25% on the rear window and back seats (no fronts) looks good since it is not too much of a contrast between the two... go for a lighter tint in the back and it looks good.... I reccomend 25%.

Sucks not allowed tint in the front. Cars with tint in the back windows ugly look bad/wrong/ugly.
