Man....gotta tell you. I bought a 325i several years ago and when my peers saw it, they all made comments like "so, you got a bimmer huh?" or "Heard you got a BMW....can you afford that?" No one really cared and there was no awe factor.

Well, had the G35C for about 2 weeks now and its been nothing but test drive after test drive. Now, I am hearing "Wow....nice car dude!" and "Let's go to lunch....Jay's driving!" I think I should be an Infiniti salesman cuz I have gone over the features so many times during the last week I know the car better than the guy who sold it to me.

Oh yeah, had a 330 pull up next to me at a light....he had the same look on his face that I had four weeks ago...."Man, that car is SWEET!" Anyway, pretending I did not see that look on his face, I pushed the car a little down a long stretch of the road and then slowed down so he could meet me at the next light. Yep, he was smiling.

Two of my friends at work have 330i's (sports package), and ever since I bought my G they've been feeling a little intimidated =)

 

i got the same thing at work at first. people would sit in the back of my car, and squeeze in there. even though other people had sedans.

it was like, iwanna ride in the g . my friend at work bought a 350z enthusiast, and luckily he only has 2 seats, or he'd be in my predicament. he has actually made fun of me about the curse of my rear seats.

LOL, that's cool. A couple weeks after I got my car, my boss (who drives an 82 Tercel hatchback) saw me in it and I could see he was trying to make some sort of comment (prolly like "we are paying you too much") but he didn't say anything.

Then a hot MILF in my office commented on it too, I wanted to ask her if she wanted a ride

Anyway, I'll post pics as soon as it stops fricken raining in sunny southern Cal and I can wash the car. It has been 2 weeks straight with another heavy dose this weekend.
