Double Din worries!! JL audio has a new product
waste of money....why buy something that's already out by other companies and sells for about 80 dollars? This is going to cost around 500 dollars and your just paying for the JL name. Sure it may have a few more options unlike a regular LOC. Sorry for crapping your thread.

Its a little more then a LOC, but to truly know what it does we will have to wait and see. If it does what it says you could compete in stereo competitions with your stock hu and actually compete.

I think its a great product, and from my understanding hooking this up to our headunits should compensate for the ****ty sound from the BlOwSE system?
Would some people give a list of alternatives, so you can be more helpful and constructive?
I would definitely like to correct the AWFUL blose equalization in my car, but then I also need to change speakers.

Ummm, I dont think a LOC can correct the Bose bass equalization with volume. It helps to know what the Bose and Clarion HU actually do in order to appreciate this product. I hope its not $500
how much "equalization" and imaging and all that crap does the Clarion HU actually do anyways? I would have guessed damn near nothing, and the crap Bose AMP does it all.
IF that's the case, put your LOC before the bose amp, and all of your problems are solved.

yea, this wouldnt really fly with just the JL product. Changing out that amp would definately need to be done, though people have said the stock speakers aren't *that* bad (personally i'd put mb quarts).
This is the best news I've heard in a while!! I was planning on getting rid of all speakers (MB Quarts Q's) and putting in an amp to keep the stealth look, but I was completely worried that the headunit signal would be bad. Now I can use this right into the 450/4 to end my worries.
