I agree with you on sticking with 06/07 vs older.
If it's a 1 owner car, that's a good sign.
But if you can stand to wait, save up and get less than 50k miles. You'll be able to own the car longer that way.

Have you looked at the Carfax.
My 06' sport pkg was a lease with 29k on it when I got it about 2 years ago. With the history of all service, TWO complete leather packages with all the manuals, pens etc... Plus the owner was a female, her phone setup was still on the bluetooth.
Paid 22k
So the more you can find out the better.

Long as the engine has been properly maintained the engine should be fine. The engines in theses cars are pretty reliable. I have 135k on my motor and it's still pretty strong and I'm gun it at times and the motor is still going
Just bought my 2 owner ( Im the 3rd owner) Black 07 Coupe a month ago with 55,300 on it for $19,800 with 3 year extended warranty and 5 year Wheel warranty, it's Fully Loaded ,5spd Automatic. I must say since putting Ultra synthetic oil in it and premium gas and brand new Michelin A/S PLUS tires, it runs like a japanese Porsche. I can say this bc I use to own a 2000 Porsche Carrera. So I know what's good. I'm only 23 but I have been very fortunate to drive some nice car's in my life. Make the move just make sure everything sounds good and looks good!

yea but looking at alot of 06 and 07 with that miles range they go all the way up to around 20,000 the blue book value for that car at 86k is 18000 and some change so the car its around 2000 less
Well don't you feel special?
That isn't really contributing anything of value. So what... you have a low mileage car... You might have a second car. You might commute to work in a carpool. You may not have a job or anywhere to travel to.
What's really important with purchasing a used car is the history of that vehicle. How much info can you gather? Personally, I would rather purchase a vehicle with 75K miles on it that had every bit of service documented and included instead of getting the same year model car with 40K miles and completely unknown history. Low mileage is great but it certainly isn't everything.
Just do your research on the car. Get it checked out by an independent third party. Test drive it. Think about it. In the end, no opinion that is stated on this board will be able to sway you one way or the other.

this is a tough decision a really tough one... my credit is not that good cause of my pass and this is one dealership is trying to help me out with the color i want and year so its very tempting and i really dont know about cars , i just no i always wanted a g35 coupe lol... but i have been looking at prices with around the same miles and about 90 percent of the cars are higher in prices
