Well, I can tell you I've had my G coupe for 8 years and I have about 149,000 miles on it. I'm still very happy with it and have had very few problems. Just normal wear and tear. Our G's have timing chains so they last longer than belts. As long as you do the maintenance, you'll be fine.

My wife's Maxima uses more or less the same VQ engine as what you'd have in an automatic G. It's at 90k miles, well maintained and feels every bit as powerful as my much lower mileage manual G. That all boils down to maintenance though.

See if you can find out how long the existing owner has had it. I'm always skeptical of a car that's been around the block several times vs. a 1-2 owner car.

15k for an 07 is not that bad for 86k miles. I'd check the history and maintenance records. I personally wouldn't want a used car with over 50k, but that's just me.

^ +1 on checking the maintenance history.
Belts, trans & diff fluid should have been changed twice by now.
Is it a 6mt (revup engine)? Those can sometimes have oil consumption issues.
