OP, anything can be fixed on a car, easily. Sure, it seems like a lot of miles for the year, but do whatever you want to do.

Ok, I know it seems like a big decision, but if its something you've always wanted. Then go for it! There are plenty of people telling you about there high mileage G's. I'm at 149K now and I'll be over 150 in a couple of weeks when I make my drive through Europe. I've pushed my G on just about a daily basis. When I lived in Germany I had a stretch of autobahn that I would take to work and I hit over 150mph and multiple redlines daily. I really pushed my car to the limit. I felt like this car was meant to be pushed. The only thing with a G is watching your oil. I do put oil in it every 1K miles or so. I've been doing this for the last 125,000 miles of the life of my car. I've never been happier with a vehicle. So many people have issues with the BMWs, Mercs, and Audis. I just had a window motor that needed to be replaced and a wheel bearing. Regular maintenance such as tires, brakes, oil/air filter changes, spark plugs, etc...are normal and expected with every vehicle. This has been the most dependable vehicle I've every owned. I don't see the point in buying a vehicle so it can just sit around and keep its value by having low mileage. Why even buy the car if your are thinking about its value in a few years? It will always depreciate no matter what vehicle you buy. (Exception:classics) Even if you bought the car now, you'd have a good 60,000 miles before you reach the point I'm at mileage wise. By that time you might be ready to get something else anyway. Not a bad deal for $15-16K. I paid 40K for mine. Just learn how to check your oil properly. Its not the same for this car like other vehicles. Keep us informed. I'm excited for you my friend.

I'm gonna lay out my situation I was in last year and it may help you decide, but first I gotta ask one thing.
Why must it be an 06/07? I know looks are subjective and all but I along with most people think the rear looks better on the 03-05 with the tail lights and the normal spoiler vs the molded lip spoiler that came on the 06s...You could probably find an 05 with similar miles for less money. But if the 06/07 is really what you're into go for it.
Either way last year I was searching for my G for about a week of frantic internet searching through all the available channels. (yahoo, autotrader, craigslist, ebay etc...) and when it came to finding EXACTLY what I wanted I had 5 requirements. When it came down to it there were only 2 for sale in a 500 mile radius that met my requirements. One was by owner with 66,000 miles on it 360 miles away and one was at a dealer 100 miles away with 95,000. Due to financing (easier to finance with a dealer, lower rates from your bank) I had to go with the higher mileage one and I don't regret it for a second. And to be completely honest I have put about 800 dollars in it fixing things since I bought it but still 0 regrets because of the feeling I get when I walk out and see it everyday.
If that car is really what YOU want you wont regret doing what it takes to get it.

If its also very close to what you want and that many fewer miles I'd say go for it. Thats a good price. I paid 15000 even for mine and its an 05 6mt black coupe with the sport pack and spoiler, 19 inch oem rims. Those were my requirements and sticking to them is the reason I have no regrets.
The G is a really sweet car to own trust me. I traded in my previous dream car (wanted since I was 12) for it which was a silver 03 Porsche Boxster S and to be honest I like the G more right now. I guess tastes change. If you can find a car thats exactly what you want you wont have regrets no matter how much you have to do to afford/maintain it haha.
