Got scratched/hit in parking lot...

Allright, so I parked my car at school as usual.
When I come back, this is what I find:

Sidemarker is gone. They even took it. Whoever hit me, got out of his car and stole my sidemarker that fell out? Who the f does that... (I taped it until I replaced it)

Anyways, I replace those, however, I am wondering what I can do to fix this:

I usually spray wax after every wash, but that won't get rid of those scratches.
What can I do to get rid of it???

well that depends on how much money you wanna spend...

you can go back sand it off and then spray paint it over but that will look off color a little cuz ur car is faded a little but luckily that's a small area so it's ok

or fork over the money for a shop to do it... gl

you think a detailing shop would be able to fix something like that?

tbh i just want it fixed in a way where it does not stand out that it was repainted or something you know

Use some Scratch X... That thing works wonders. It won't hurt to try.

Looks like you can buff most of it out, like with Scratch X mentioned above. It won't be as noticeable anymore but you'll still see some of the scratch marks from an angle. That's the cheapest option.

Lol what the hell? They hit you and then decide to rob you too? That's classy. Hope everything works out for you. Scratch X does seem to be the cheapest solution for now. Tell us how it goes.

Buy an aftermarket front bumper and polish out the small area on the fender.

But seriously, clay bar it, polish with an abrasive compound (scratch x sucks IMO) and buffer, seal, wax. If it still looks bad, either do as I said above, or repaint.

This is exactly why I try my best to park VERY far away from anyone. Try some rubbing/polishing compound. It should get rid of some of the marks, but I don't think it will remove it entirely. It would make the amount of damage seem a lot smaller so if you do repaint it yourself it wouldn't be as noticeable and you wouldn't have to fork over 200+ bucks just to get that sport repainted and blended to your car color. Hope it all goes well for you.

LOL yeah. I can imagine someone hitting me, checking the damage and stealing my sidemarker for some reason.

I'll give scratch X a try, but I've been thinking about taking the car to a detailer anyways, hopefully he can do something better/more efficient.

That sucks! A lot of bad drivers at school. Park in the back or in an empty place. I aways park in the back and hug the side lines.

Can you say, Chicken ****?

ScratchX might help but to remove everything from your fender/bumper contact a detail shop and have them hit it with a high speed buffer and compound. Shouldn't cost more than $20= and 10 minutes of there time....Gary
