Can anyone recommend a good air filter that does not require oiling? I've noticed an AEM Dryflo filter, but their website doesn't have OEM size for the G35 (yet?).

I don't want to start another debate about oiled K&N's (I've had many) effecting the MAF sensor because considering the limited/no gains from an air filter, I'd rather play it safe and stick with non-oiled... but what options are there?

 

Filters like the K&N won't cause issues with your sensors if you reinstall them dry after cleaning! I ran a pair on my last TT Z without issues and one on this G for 20K miles until switching to my AMSOIL non oiled filter. Google AMSOIL filters, they make a drop in for your G35....Gary

 

I got the HKS drop in. Works as great as a filter can I suppose....

And running a oiled K&N dry is ok... But it will not filter out fine dust at all.

 

I'm rockin' an Apex'i. Seems to be working like an air filter!
