I am selling my car for this reason.

Picking up a Z06 corvette this fall/winter. I have been saving since last march.

Driving a POS for a few months will make the Z06 seem SOOOOOO FAST!

Never have had a car not paid in cash though, took me a few years to save.

 

If you want boost get yourself an old SC300, throw in a 1jzgte and call it a day. You'll spend around 5k for everything. That's what I did

 

If you want speed/thrill/acceleration, get a motorcycle. Once you've ridden a bike you'll never consider any car to be fast again.

All kidding aside, I wouldn't suggest doing the FI route unless you have another car that you can DD. Problems will arise and unless you're a true gearhead and good with tools - the problems will cost more to fix.

 

Sell it and get a evo, you'll never be bored again.

 

Put all the OEM stuff back on and sell it, then go buy a 6mt g35,350,330i etc and put the stuff from the old G on that. then work from there

Not HATING and I know ppl have their reasons but why do ppl put some mch **** in autos, you don't really get to control the car so it s pointless.

 

Give me a properly modded auto and I'll show you a car that will smash on a 6MT all day long. To each his own man.

 

Why do you feel you need "control" when your not driving an actual sports car? People do have their reasons, and I have no problem keeping up with GTR's, E96's, GT500's.....etc in my auto.

 

I drive an auto because of convenience. I drive on the highway a lot for school and there is a lot of traffic in my area.

 

Why I would never go back to manual drive car. 495S in MD @ 12AM... GRID LOCK for an hr!

 

I second that. Just because you drive a 6mt doesn't make you a better driver.

But to be honest no matter what route you go it will nvr end. Modding is an addiction it will nvr end. good luck with whatever route you take.
