sunroof bolts loose, project i can fix myself?

I have an 04 g35 coupe with sunroof. When I had it in the shop a while ago, i complained about a rattling, like a loose bolt up in sunroof area. The tech said that sometimes over time the mounting bolts can come loose. When i drive over bumps I get a ton of noise and rattles from the sunroof. I have used silicone around the rubber seal to try and SHUT IT UP. hahah

I have read this is common?

Here is my idea. Am I correct in attempting this?
I have found some stuff on how to remove the headliner in the car. Time consuming but does not look overly difficult. How is the sunroof mounted? Is it simply a bracket with some bolts squeezing the roof? If one of these bolts have loosed over time, will simply tightening the bolts down make the noise go down as the roof will not "shift around" as much? How tight should I make these bolts?

I am pretty handy, but is this to much work? Is it worth it to try and get the damm sunroof to be quiet down?

This DIY will show you how to remove the headliner:
https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...r-removal.html

I had the same issue - one of the bolts holding up the sunroof track came loose causing the track to tap against the metal support on the underside of the roof. The sound went away when I re-installed the bolt. Its not hard, just a little time consuming. Go slow so you don't crease the headliner.

Once you find the loose bolt, just hand-tighten it (add some blue lock-tite if you're worried). Since everything is already out of the car, you might as well check the other bolts in the area too (rear parcel shelf, pillars, etc.).

Give yourself an hour. No need to rush though.

Trickiest part will be the oh-**** handle removal. But if it's not playing nice, there should be enough hang for you to reach the nuts as is
