Rim damaged!!

Well I have some bad news I have a slow leak in my tire. I went to Tire Kingdom after work yesterday, around 5:30ish. I brought it to have the nail taken out and a patch put in. So the guy takes off my wheel does his thing. About 10 minutes later he’s trying to balance the tire and is having a hard time, I went over to see what the problem was and he told me my rim was bent. My rim was not bent before I went in there! I then look closer and around the whole lip of the rim it’s scratched!!! Some deeper than others. The damage also extended onto the spokes of a few of them. I told the guy and he told m”No they were there, the machine I use is plastic”, I told him BS, etc. After a 25 minutes screaming match with all the employees there I finally found a sales manager who told me to come back the next morning and talk to the manager of the store. So I went back this morning and talked to him. He was very nice, and told me he was going to ship my wheel out to get fixed and if I am not happy with it then he will buy me a new one.

Cliff Notes: Went to Tire Kingdom, they scratched my rim and they are going to fix it!

Just curious does anyone know how much the stock 18’s are?

i feel for you. i bought my car with a scratch on the front bumper from someone pulling too close to a curb. so the dealership had it repainted. when i got the car back, i noticed they curbed the front left wheel. the next day, i took it to the tire place the dealrship to me to go to, to get 2 new rear michelin pilot sport tires on. after i got the car back, i noticed that all around the rim of the rear wheels were very light scratches. so my girlfriend went to the dealership today to drope off my spare key to my trade in and talked to the sales manager about this. so next time i go home, they are replacing the wheels for me.

Bent rim... sounds like they removed the tired then dropped the wheel onto the concrete.

I went back again after work last night and they are going to send the rim to a local place that fixes them. I then called my service manager at Infiniti who is a long time friend and he told me that the dealer sends thier damaged rims to the same place and they come out great. So Im not to worried. I am driving around on that UGLY *** tire that Infiniti calls a spare

Tell them you want a new rim or an unblemmished used one.
The repair will be noticeable.
