Hey I can help you guys! I found a way to eliminate the static shock when getting out. Before opening the door and getting out, take your infiniti key out of the ignition, then rub your thumb and index finger in the metal part of the key, then while still holding the metal part of the key, get out of the car. Sounds involved but its all just holding the metal while getting out.
I dont really know the mechnics of why it works, but it works. Havent been shocked since!

Does this mean i have a bad ground and should install the grounding kit? i've contemplated getting a wire kit, but have read mixed reviews. maybe i have a bad ground and should pull the trigger. thoughts? anyone else have a "shocking G"?
You need to hang a small wire or grounding strap from the chassis to ground if this is a big issue. You could hide it under the car so it's not noticed.

To avoid getting "shocked" use your hips to close the door after you get out of the car. Clothing seems to be a bad conductor of electricity. That's what I do anyway. Hahaha!!!
