I need help and search did not help!!!

What are z tubes and plenum spacers. I searched em but I just come up with mention of them and no actual definition. Please explain. Thanks guys

Cliff notes:
Z-tube = stock intake piping from a 350Z
Plenum Spacer = A spacer that goes in between the upper and lower intake plenums. Research: Motordyne 5/16" or 1/2"
