Gas gauge problem

Just filled up and I can see the gas all the way up in the tank but the fuel level only shows 3/4 full. Anyone have this problem or know a solution

When you're filling up does the pump click off a lot at random times? The fuel tank not filling up completely has been a known issue in the past with certain G's.

Wow are you serious? I experienced this once with my G where it just keeps clicking like the pump was stating it is full of gas but it wasn't. I was just thinking it was that one gas station that I went to because I have never experienced it again.

Yea some pumps with bad or broken sensors will do that.. happened to me once also and started to get worried. But never happened again at any other gas pump so it wasn't the G whew.

But for future reference, here's the TSB about this issue a while back. It's ITB08-041a....

Yeah. Watch out for that.
I had 1/4 gas when i parked my car, it was almost empty when i turned it back on.
the gauges and the sensors can get messed up.

7/10 times i cant even get a full tank of gas.
